Interactives

I avoided coding for years. After brief workshops in HTML and CSS, I was convinced that I didn't have the brain to code. But after using becoming familiar with basic HTML, I realized how much I enjoy creating something from scratch. These skills have furthered my interest in media innovation, and I am hoping to use my knowledge to assist with product development and find new ways to engage audiences through interactive webpages.

  • Entertainment districts in Little Rock and North Little Rock

I made this interactive map for a class, building on an explainer I wrote for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. I wanted to create a map that would clearly delineate the boundaries of each entertainment district while allowing users to see what popular venues and shops they could explore in the districts.

  • Figure skating doesn't have to stop after high school

As a collegiate figure skater, I have noticed that there isn’t a website that is an all-in-one resource for skaters who hope to skate in college and those who currently do. This webpage includes team definitions and an interactive map with every team a college skater could join. I plan to build on this, and include resources for team leaders, such as a competition and registration page, a section that includes all relevant rules and guidelines for teams and an animated explanation of synchronized skating elements.
